Libratherm offers two zone and four zone temperature control panel for heater control in plastic injection moulding machines. The control panel comprises micro controller based PID temperature controller, Auto/Manual selector switches, manual potentiometers and current meters on the front. Back side of the panel has provision for easy connection of sensors, heaters and power cable. Maximum Heaters of 4KW @ 230VAC can be connected per zone and the heater power is controlled through suitably rated Solid state relays, using PID controllers in the Auto mode and using potentiometer in the Manual mode. The Auto/Manual selection is through the toggle switch on the front panel.

The heart of the panel is Libratherm make PID controller – model PID-723, which accepts J, K or Pt-
100 sensors as the input and provides PID control output in the form of DC pulses to control outputs
to control the SSRs. The front panel current meter shows the heater status and the current flowing through each heater. The manual control operation is performed by using special PWM card accepting input from the potentiometer. Each heater is protected against short circuit using the individual MCB switches. Heaters are connected using standard 16A plug/sockets for easy connections and disconnections. AC supply to the panel is also connected through heavy duty plug and socket. Cooling fan is provided to exhaust the heat generated inside the panel.

The panel can be mounted on the bench close the injection molding machine, it is user friendly to operate and easy to maintain.

Libratherm offers micro controller based Signal Convector cum Isolator (Model: TSC-05) in 35 mm. DIN Rail compatible modules. This model accepts input from Thermocouple, RTDs, DC Volt, DC current and Resistance signal and provides single or dual optically  isolated   output   in the form of (4-20)mA or (0-5)V or (0-10)V, which is proportional and linearized  to the input signal. The input signal is processed by 16 bit ADC and the same is  indicated on 5 digit LED display. The display also allows user to configure the input type. LED indications shows the status of  selected input type and output type.

The input and output signals have their grounds optically isolated. Thus the process signals received from the Transducers or transmitters or Sensors can be directly connected through TSC-05 to the PLC, DCS or to any other electronics in the process industry accepting such signals, without any signal loss or ground line interference. Front panel keyboard is provided for Input type selection and calibration.  TSC-05 operates on 24VDC supply.
