Libratherm offers Single phase power regulator for Heating control of resistive or inductive loads. This regulator accepts the user selectable control signal of 0-5V, 0-10V and 4-20mA or through potentiometer, and hence, can be easily interfaced with DDC, PID, PLC or HMI. The output voltage can be varied proportional to the input signal. The phase angle firing control technique ensures smooth and gradual step less voltage control across the heater load. Facility is also provided to adjust the soft rise or fall in voltage across the load using on card Ramp UP and Ramp Down potentiometers. The maximum and minimum voltage output can also be adjusted. These modules can be easily mounted on the standard 35 mm. DIN rail or on the base plate using 4 screws. For three phase load in star with neutral configurations, 3 independent modules can be used with common control signal.

There is a significant electrical power savings with respect to conventional contactor type temperature control system. Libratherm offers ready to use SCR power controller for electrical heating loads ranging from 3 KW/Single phase to 360KW/3-phase. This power controller module comprises of suitable triggering card model LTC-12 or LTC-13 or LTC-15 or LTC-18, suitably rated back to back connected SCR modules (with electrically isolated base, mounted on the heat sink, input and output clip-on type heavy duty connectors or copper bus bars, semiconductor fuses and thermal cutouts. The entire assembly is mounted on MS powder coated enclosure, which in turn can be easily mounted inside the closed control panel as desired. This regulator accepts control signal of 0-5V for Automatic control from external controller.  The AC output voltage can be varied proportional to the input signal. The phase angle self-synchronized firing control technique ensures smooth and gradual power control across the heating coils.

Facility is also provided using the front panel potentiometers to adjust the soft rise or soft drop in voltage across the heaters.
